YARMOUTH — Daniel Masselli has been named deputy chief of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, effective March 4.
He will replace former Deputy Fire Chief Rich Kindelen, who left last December to become deputy fire chief in Old Orchard Beach.
“Dan is well respected by members of the department, and brings a
wealth of experience and expertise to the position,” Fire Chief Mike Robitaille said in a news release. “We’re very excited to have him as a member of our team.”
Masselli previously was a career firefighter and paramedic in Auburn. Prior to that, he served as a volunteer firefighter in Jay. He has been working as a firefighter and paramedic for Yarmouth on a per diem basis since last April.
