Yarmouth’s Monica Austin had a superb showing at last week’s Maine Women’s Amateur golf tournament in Brunswick, finishing second behind repeat champion Emily Bouchard. Austin, about to begin her senior year at Yarmouth High, where she was the school’s Fall Female Athlete of the Year in 2012, shot a 241 over three days. six strokes behind Bouchard.
