Yarmouth’s Jasper Houston was part of a Bowdoin College freshmen men’s rowing team which took home a silver medal in the Grand Final at the recent Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia. Over 120 colleges, including several Division I powerhouses, took part. Houston’s boat won the Men’s Novice 4 division at the New England Rowing Championships earlier this month. Houston rowed for four years at Yarmouth High School prior to graduating in 2014.
