YARMOUTH — Join Yarmouth Cares About Neighbors on May 31 to help assemble a planter for someone in need.
Assembly of 12 cedar boxes, tall enough to use standing or sitting, will begin at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Yarmouth High School. Thanks to the contributions of Hancock Lumber, Estabrooks garden center and YCAN, the cost for each box will only be $25.
Those who would like to reserve a planter prior to the event can do so by calling Aging in Place coordinator Leigh Kirchner at 712-7244 or emailing leighmk2050@gmail.com.
