10/4 at 7:10 p.m. Joanna Marquis, 19, of Bridge Street, was arrested by Officer Kevin A. Pedersen on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Summonses

9/28 at 11:21 a.m. Alanv O. Cook, 74, of Harborview Drive, was summonsed
by Officer Micheal A. Vogel on a charge of leaving the scene of an
accident.

Rabid raccoons?

9/28 at 1:38 p.m.  Police were notified of two raccoons fighting on Cousins Street. The caller said the animals appeared to be rabid. The animal control officer captured the raccoons and took them for testing.

Not too far

9/29 at 7:27 a.m. Police received a call about a stolen bicycle from West Main Street. The bike was later located on Main Street and returned to its owner.

Unsuccessful phone scam

10/4 at 11:24 a.m. A resident of Main Street contacted police regarding an alleged phone scam. The caller said they were holding a package for the resident, but needed a social security number to confirm the transaction. The resident did not provide the information, and reported the call to the police.
