Summonses

10/12 at 11:27 a.m. Edward McCausland, 48, of Vassalboro, was issued a summons on a charge of insurance violation.

10/16 at 9:17 a.m. Nicholas Powell, 25, of Cumberland was issued a summons on Main Street by Officer Charles Perkins on a charge of operating vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.

10/18 at 10:08 a.m. David Collins, 55, of Westbrook was issued a summons by Officer Perkins on Princes Point Road on a charge of operating vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.

School spirit or vandalism?

10/13 at 4:30 p.m. A resident notified police of trees that were spray-painted along East Elm Street. The trees were sprayed with red and white paint and offered encouragement to the North Yarmouth Academy cross-country team.

Smashed, but not grabbed

10/18 at 5:55 p.m. A resident of the Riverbend Drive area came home to find his door smashed in. Police report nothing is missing at this point and the case is under investigation.
