Summonses

11/3 at 7:54 a.m. Carolyn J. Deberry, 31, of Lewiston, was issued a summons by Officer Joshua Robinson on Main Street on a charge of misuse of identification.

11/4 at 3:57 p.m. Dean G. Levasseur, 22, of Main Street, was issued a summons by Officer Joshua Robinson on Route 1 on a charge of operating while license is suspended or revoked.

Don’t fear the flagger

11/2 at 3:41 p.m. According to police, a driver on Portland Street got into a verbal altercation with a traffic flagger when he allegedly wouldn’t let the driver pass until he said she could. She reportedly decided to drive ahead anyway and he threatened to have her arrested. She was not arrested, police reported.

Loose fox fur

11/5 at 3:30 p.m. A resident of the East Elm Street area contacted police to report what they thought was a rabid fox. The caller reported seeing a fox with its fur falling out. When police arrived, the fox was gone.
