2/29 at 2:43 a.m. Trevor R. Greene, 20, of Hunter Road, Freeport, was arrested on Little John Road by Officer Michael Pierce on charges of operating under the influence and possession of marijuana.

Summonses

2/28 at 8:15 a.m. Vincent Bertino, 51, of Springlake Drive, Westfield, Ind., was issued a summons at Gilman and Drinkwater Point roads by Officer Michael Peacock on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit.

2/27 at 11:10 p.m. After police responded to a noise complaint about a barking dog, the person taking care of the dog for a friend agreed to bring the dog indoors.

2/29 at 3:52 p.m. An Abby Lane resident reporteed she was receiving harassing phone calls telling her she had won a sweepstakes and seeking her personal information to help claim the prize.

3/2 at 6:18 p.m. Police responding to a call about suspicious behavior on Bayview Road could not find who might have been firing gunshots or lighting fireworks.

Open door policy

3/3 at 3:01 p.m. Police found no signs of forced entry at a Route 1 home after learning a second floor door was left open. The real estate agent showing the property was informed the door had been left open.
