Summonses

7/21 at 3:01 p.m. Troy Ryerson, 42, of Bryant Pond, was issued a summons by Officer Micheal Vogel on charges of failure to display current or valid certificate of inspection, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police looking for battery thief

7/18 at 7:14 p.m. Police were notified that about $330 worth of cordless batteries were allegedly stolen from Main Street. The batteries were used for tools needed to break down the booths from the Yarmouth Clam Festival. Police encourage anyone with information to contact Detective Paul Martin at 846-3333.

You say potato, I say woodchuck

7/19 at at 8:45 a.m. A resident contacted police to report an injured porcupine at the Royal River Park. A few minutes later, the resident called police again to report the animal had died. According to police, the animal control officer arrived at the park and identified the animal as a woodchuck.
