1/30 at 1:59 a.m. Justin A. Milair, 22, of East Main Street, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Michael Pierce on charges of failing to notify about an accident and operating under the influence.

2/1 at 6:37 p.m. Julian R. Klenda, 25, of Quincy Court, was arrested at his home by Officer Roger Moore on charges ofassault and criminal restraint.

2/2 at 11:43 p.m. Sunithi A. Simmons, 34, of Burnell Drive, was arrested on North Road by Officer Kevin Pedersen on a charge of operating under the influence.

2/3 at 7:30 p.m. Thomas L. Campobasso, 52, of Bayview Street, was arrested on Melissa Drive by Detective Paul Martin on a charge of operating under the influence.

2/5 at 7:42 a.m. William D. Clark, 29, of Hillside Street, was arrested on Main Street by Detective Paul Martin on charges of operating with a suspended or revoked license and failure to notify of an accident.

2/5 at 10:57 p.m. Jeanne L. Whitter, 40, of East Main Street, was arrested at East Main Street and North Road by Officer Kevin Pedersen on charges of operating after suspension and operating under the influence.

Early bird

2/1 at 6:02 a.m. Police responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Old Shipyard Road discovered a man who was allegedly reading the newspaper before his children got out of bed.

In the clear

2/1 at 12:29 p.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Morton Road. They found a truck containing a snow thrower that had reportedly just used by a contractor to clear a customer’s driveway.
