Summonses

12/6 at 10:16 a.m. Cecila J. Guecia, 43, of Portland Street, was issued a summons by Officer Roger Moore on Main Street on a charge of operating while license is suspended or revoked.

12/11 at 8:09 a.m. Sarah A. Oakes, 23, of North Yarmouth, was issued a summons by Officer Kevin A. Pedersen on Granite Street on a charge of operating while license is suspended or revoked.

The long way home

12/6 at 11:25 p.m. Police were notified of a man wearing a white sweatshirt and jeans walking along Route 88. When police found him, he reportedly told them he had been abandoned by a friend in North Yarmouth and was walking to the Cumberland line. He had no one to pick him up, so police reportedly took him to the Irving gas station in Falmouth and notified Falmouth police of the situation.

Out of focus

12/8 at 11:41 a.m. A bus making a turn from Center Street to Main Street allegedly clipped the side mirror of a Ford Focus. Police report no one was injured in the bus and vehicle accident. 

No green, no go

12/12 at 6:29 p.m. Police were notified that the green left hand turn signal was not working at the Portland Street and Route 1 intersection. They contacted the company responsible for changing the bulbs. There were no accidents reported as a result of the burnt out light bulb.
