YARMOUTH — Maine Green Energy Alliance and the town are working together to help residents make energy-saving home improvements and qualify for significant cash rebates and tax credits.

MGEA will hold an information session on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the community room at Town Hall. A second meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Log Cabin.

An energy auditor will be available to explain how to increase home energy efficiency and how to qualify for federal tax credits of up to $1,500 before a Dec. 31 deadline.
