Yarmouth native Kevin Leahy competes with some of the best snowboarders in the world at the 2011/2012 Snowboard Cross World Cup competition, the only U.S. stop on this year’s SBX World Cup tour, which took place Dec. 16 at the Telluride Resort in Colorado. Leahy finished in 14th place. U.S. Team Member and Olympic Gold Medalist Seth Wescott of Sugarloaf finished in seventh. The event was televised by NBS Sports and Versus to be broadcast at 5 p.m. Saturday and again on Jan. 7.
