YARMOUTH — Stefan Shaft, 23, of Glen Road, was arrested at his home on Feb. 5 by the Computer Crimes Unit of the Maine State Police on a charge of possession of child pornography.
Dozens of images of child pornography were allegedly found on Shaft’s computer, and he is charged with possessing sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12. According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, none of the children are believed to be from Maine.
Shaft was brought to Cumberland County Jail. He is unemployed and lives with his mother and grandmother.
