Recently graduated Yarmouth High boys’ basketball standout Alek Medenica signs his National Letter of Intent to attend and play basketball the University of Montevallo, a Division II school in Montevallo, Alabama. Medenica, Yarmouth’s Winter Male Athlete of the Year after leading the Clippers to the Class B South Final, is a native of Serbia who was one of the state’s best players as a junior and senior.
