YARMOUTH — Artists have until 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, to submit entries for the annual Yarmouth Art Festival.

The eighth annual show will be held Oct. 19-22 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road. The juried art show accepts paintings, sculpture, photography, etching, and digital media, with a $15 fee for the first submission, $10 for the second, and $5 for each additional piece. Artists must be 18 or older and Maine residents; work can be submitted online.

Artists who are chosen for the show will be notified by Oct. 3. There were 163 pieces by 88 artists in last year’s show from almost 350 submissions. Of those pieces, 49 were sold for a total of $58,900, organizers said.

The submission fees, as well as sales commissions, will be donated to St. Bart’s, the Friendship House in South Portland, the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry, and St. Elizabeth’s Essential Pantry in Portland. The festival is free to attend, although donations are accepted.
