YARMOUTH — Homeowners can learn about ways to save energy at a community forum on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

The Yarmouth Energy Savers Committee will host the event with Efficiency Maine, Maine Partners for Cool Communities and the Maine Association of Building Efficiency Professionals. The forum, moderated by state Sen. Richard Woodbury, U-Yarmouth, will offer residents information on weatherization, heating options and energy efficiency loans.

The first 20 people will receive a weatherization kit worth $20 and there will be door prizes and free energy audits. The event will take place at the Log Cabin, 196 Main St., from 7-8:30 p.m. and will be televised.
