YARMOUTH — Yarmouth Cares About Neighbors received a $500 grant from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation that will be used to purchase food and other necessities for the community food pantry.
The grant is part of Harvard Pilgrim’s Community Spirit 9/11 program, which was created to commemorate members who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The program allows each Harvard Pilgrim employee to award a mini-grant to the local charity of their choice. Yarmouth Cares About Neighbors was nominated by Laura Sanborn.
