YARMOUTH — Artists have until Friday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. to submit entries for the annual Yarmouth Art Festival.

The seventh annual show will be held Oct. 21-24 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road. The juried art show accepts submissions of painting, sculpture, photography, etching, and digital media, with a $15 fee for the first submission, $10 for the second, and $5 for each following piece. Artists must be 18 or older and residents of Maine, and work can be submitted online.

Artists who are chosen for the show will be notified by Oct. 1. There were 162 pieces by 80 artists in last year’s show, and almost 350 submissions. Of those pieces, 33 were sold for a total of more than $12,500, organizers said.

The submission fees, as well as sales commissions, will be donated to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and St. Elizabeth’s Essential Pantry in Portland. The festival is free to attend, although donations are accepted.
