YARMOUTH — With ease, voters on Tuesday approved a $28.4 million school budget for fiscal year 2019.

The spending plan is up about $932,000, or 3.9 percent, over the current budget of just under $24 million. 

The budget garnered support from 2,268 voters, while 817 voted against it. According to Town Clerk Jennifer Doten, 89 budget validation ballots were left blank.
