The Yarmouth 5th grade boys’ travel basketball team won the Freeport Recreation League, beating Greely in the final, 53-40. This was the first year the boys played in a travel league and they wound up 28-4. They also won the Scarborough Holiday Tournament and Westbrook Paper City Classic. The team was coached by Randall Bates, Lisa Hook and Troy Scott.
