PORTLAND — A 49-year-old woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after getting shot on Parris Street on Sunday morning.
Police Lt. Robert Martin said the unidentified victim was shot following an argument with the suspect around 8:44 a.m, and taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment. The suspect was described as a younger white male armed with a small silver handgun.
Martin said police are looking for a silver sport utility vehicle which possibly has a Massachusetts license plate starting with the numbers 771. The vehicle was last seen on Parris Street, headed toward Portland Street. There was also a white male passenger in the SUV when the shooting occurred.
