CUMBERLAND — The Chebeague and Cumberland Land Trust will hold a Winter Fun Day at Rines Forest from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 27.
All ages are welcome to explore the more than 200-acre forest. Forester Jay Braunscheidel and members of the trust will give guided tours, and children can participate in a scavenger hunt and receive Maine animal tracks pocket guides. Free snacks and hot cocoa will be provided.
Snowshoe and cross-country ski tours will be offered, and a limited number of snowshoes will be available courtesy of Eastern Mountain Sports.
