CAPE ELIZABETH — Thirty award-winning artists will paint the town this weekend.
From June 29 to July 1, artists will spread across Cape Elizabeth to paint the community’s beautiful landscapes. The completed works will be auctioned on July 1 from 4-7:30 p.m. during the 11th annual Paint for Preservation Wet Paint Auction. The event will be held on seaside Breakwater Farm Road, overlooking Richmond Island, and the proceeds will benefit the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust.
CELT publishes a map of the public locations where artists will be working, which is available on CELT’s website and Facebook pages. Visit www.capelandtrust.org for tickets to the auction and samples of the participating artists’ work.
