SOUTH HARPSWELL — Wayne Arthur Ricker, 65, died unexpectedly Feb. 10. 

He was born Aug. 19, 1944, and worked as a Maine hunting guide and fisherman in his younger years.

A lobsterman by trade, he enjoyed being on the water in his boat Different Day.

He was a devoted husband and loving father who loved spending time with friends and family, entertaining them with his anecdotes. 

He was predeceased by three sisters, Dottie Geneva, Bunny, and Mary, four brothers, Rick, Bob, Leslie, and Ike.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Taylor-Ricker; five children, James Ricker, Denise Ricker, Greg Gardner and wife Jennifer, Michelle Pulsifer and husband Jason, and Amanda Brillant; brother, Sumner Ricker and wife Anne of Harpswell and four sisters, Cynthia Waldren and husband Larry of New Hampshire, Rose Croft and husband David of Arkansas, Barbara Boldic of Connecticut, and Catherine Wilson of Maine; five grandchildren, Nick, Ethan, Alyssa, Maddie, Michael; and one great-grandchild, Declan.

Memorial services were held Wednesday.

Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
