PORTLAND — A “significant” water main break at Bolton and Congress streets, in Libbytown, shut down the intersection Wednesday morning, Deputy City Manager Sheila Hill-Christian said.
A Portland Water District crew was repairing the broken main, and Bolton Street was closed to traffic exiting onto Congress Street.
Traffic has local access to Bolton Street via Brighton Avenue, Hill-Christian said.
