PORTLAND — The pedestrian walk on the Casco Bay Bridge between Portland and South Portland will be closed for three weeks beginning Monday, July 21.

Crews will be blasting and painting the metal sidewalk on the drawbridge, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

Work will be contained to the sidewalk. Vehicle travel lanes and the paved shoulder and bicycle lane will not be impacted.

DOT said work is expected be completed by Sunday, Aug. 10.
