The Falmouth Police and the Fire departments responded Jan. 29 when an 85-year-old driver hit this parked Mini Cooper and pushed it into an exterior wall at the Rite Aid at 33 Depot Road. Police said the driver of the other vehicle was backing up, but her backup alarm and the sound of another car honking caused her to panic and accelerate into the parked car.

The vehicles and the Rite Aid building sustained most of the damage. Police said no one was hurt in the crash.
