PORTLAND — The city has extended the deadline to Feb. 5 for citizens to apply for vacancies on municipal boards and commissions.
The City Council Legislative/Nominating Committee is trying to fill three Planning Board vacancies, two Board of Appeals vacancies, one alternate position for the Board of Assessment Review, and one vacancy each for the Creative Portland Corporation, Police Citizen Review Subcommittee and Land Bank Commission.
Interested citizens can send a resume and cover letter to Nominating Committee Chair, c/o City Clerk, 389 Congress St., Portland, ME 04101, or email them to City Clerk Katherine Jones at klj@portlandmaine.gov.
