BRUNSWICK — Viviane C. Hart, 83, died Sept. 4 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.
Born in Brunswick on Oct. 11, 1925, she was the daughter of William and Marie St. Onge Charron.
She played a pivotal role in her husband’s Naval career by coordinating the family’s frequent moves to posts throughout the U.S. and Guam.
For several years, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Navy and frequently volunteered at military hospitals.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George L. Hart, in January, 1997; brothers, Felix, Raymond and William Charron and sisters, Lucille and Lorraine.
Surviving are her three children, Dana L. Hart and his wife Mary Ellen of Gloucester, Mass., Diane M. Hart of North Adams, Mass., and Patricia A. Hart of Arlington, Va; and her sister, Charmaine Lewis of Florida.
A memorial service was held on Sept. 10.
Memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
