SCARBOROUGH — Viola Dina Stelluti-Cesi, 79, died at home Aug. 26 after a long illness.  

On April 18, 1931, she was born in Hollywood, Calif., the daughter of Floralie and Fausto Stelluti-Cesi.

She lived in Westbrook until moving to Scarborough in 1983.  

She enjoyed spending many summers at Sebago Lake and Crescent Beach with her daughters.  

A talented seamstress, she loved creating outfits for her daughters and making clothes for their dolls.  

Music was always a big part of her life, and she had an extensive collection of many different styles.

Her hobbies included gardening, puzzles, computer games and reading mysteries and science fiction.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Lois F. Wein, on Sept. 6, 2005.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Jordan of Westbrook; sister, Flora Parmenter of South Portland; granddaughters, Rachel Wein of Boston and Lauren Jordan of Westbrook.

Memorial services were held earlier this week.

Arrangements are by Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough.
