BRUNSWICK/PORTLAND — Two vigils will be held in Brunswick and Portland over the next week to remember victims and bring awareness to gun violence.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick will host a “Light Into Darkness – Finding Hope” remembrance from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, which will end with a candlelight vigil.
The Friends School of Portland, located at 11 Route 1 in Cumberland, will host a vigil from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 – on the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Connecticut.
