The South Portland War Veterans Memorial Association, composed of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 832 and American Legion Post 35, held a well-attended Veterans Day parade on Tuesday, Nov. 11, starting at Southern Maine Community College and marching west on Broadway to a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at Mill Creek Park. Participants included police and firefighters, the U.S. Coast Guard, Sea Cadets, Boy Scouts, vintage cars, bagpipers, and the South Portland High School Marching Band.
