PORTLAND — The University of New England and the Portland Press Herald will host a gubernatorial debate featuring the four candidates for governor.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at UNE’s Innovation Hall, 772 Stevens Ave., Portland. A limited number of free tickets will be made available to Press Herald subscribers and to members of the UNE community. The debate will also be streamed at une.edu/debate.
The candidates running for governor this fall are Democrat Janet Mills, Republican Shawn Moody and independents Alan Caron and Terry Hayes.
Press Herald columnist Bill Nemitz and editorial page editor Greg Kesich will serve as panelists, while business editor Carol Coultas will be the debate’s moderator.
