The 2009 MS Harborfest this weekend was a success, with more than 800 people either volunteering or participating in the sail, power and tugboat events. The Multiple Sclerosis Society was on track to reaching its $110,000 goal by the end of the weekend, with money still coming in. Seen here the tugboat flotilla takes a parade around Portland Harbor Sunday prior to the tugboat muster off Fort Gorges. The MS Harborfest was started in 1982 by Merle Hallett, the owner of Handy Boat on Falmouth Foreside.
