Athletes cheer during the opening ceremony at Southern Maine Community College of Tri for a Cure, Maine Cancer Foundation’s sixth annual fundraiser held Sunday, July 21, in South Portland and Cape Elizabeth. More than 1,000 women swam, biked and ran, cheered on by more than 5,000 spectators. Their efforts raised more than $1 million.
