9/9 at 7:04 a.m. Henry Eichman, 56, of Pleasant Street, was arrested by police on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor younger than 12, unlawful sexual contact and violation of privacy.

Summonses

9/10 at 10:16 p.m. A 17-year-old male, of Topsham, was issued a summons by Officer Donald Cowles on Bridge Street on a charges of assault on a firefighter and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

Spit happens

9/10 at 10:16 p.m. Police responding to a call about a person lying unconscious near railroad tracks on Bridge Street escorted a 17-year-old Topsham male to an ambulance. Police said he allegedly became uncooperative and spit on a firefighter. The teen was taken to Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick, summonsed on charges of assault on a firefighter and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, and turned over to a parent.
