Crash and turn

6/29 at 8:08 p.m. Officer William Collins and Sgt. Mark Gilliam responded to the report of several people fighting at a Bunny Lane residence, allegedly involving a shotgun. Upon the officers’ arrival, they saw a person climb into a 1999 GMC Envoy and leave the scene. A chase ensued – during which the SUV struck a tree – and culminated on Arbor Avenue. The driver, Joshua Wolf, 21, of Bog Hollow, Harpswell, was arrested on charges of eluding an officer, criminal threatening with a weapon, driving to endanger and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. A passenger, Matthew Laurelez, 18, of Salem Street, was issued a summons on charges of criminal trespass and assault.
