Summonses

7/16 at 6:53 p.m. Glen Adair, 58, of Pinewoods Road, Canton, was issued a summons on Lewiston Road by Reserve Officer Michael Carter on a charge of operating after suspension.

7/17 at 2:15 p.m. Alison Harding, 26, of Maple Street was issued a summons on Topsham Fair Mall Road by Officer Michael Laurence on a charge of theft.

If at first you don’t succeed …

7/18, no time listed. A white female, 20-30 years old, with brown hair and a heavy build, allegedly attempted one pharmacy robbery and accomplished another, according to police. In both cases she passed a threatening note to pharmacy staff, mentioning a gun and demanding prescription pills. The attempt occurred at Rite Aid at about 7:12 p.m. The suspect then left Rite Aid as authorities were being called, but obtained the pills without paying at Hannaford at 7:25 p.m. She left in an older Ford pickup truck that is described as being dark- colored and silver striped, and possibly having New Hampshire plates. Anyone with information concerning the incidents is asked to call Topsham Police at 725-4337.
