7/16 A 17-year-old boy was issued a summons by Officer Robert Ramsay on a charge of theft.
Weed-eating redemption
7/15 at 6:07 p.m. Sgt. Mark Gilliam investigated the complaint of a theft at Cloutier’s Landscape on River Road. Two Echo weed eaters worth $300 a piece were reportedly stolen from a garage. Gilliam located the machines not far from the business, where they were being stored in a wooded area in what appeared to be a homemade tree fort. Two Topsham juveniles were allegedly involved. A deal was made between the business owners and the kids to perform community service. No formal charges were filed.
