Summonses

1/31 at 12:22 p.m. A 16-year-old boy, no town given, was issued a summons by Officer William Collins on Topsham Fair Mall Road on a charge of theft.

2/6 at 9:14 p.m. Shawn McCourt, 23, of Monmouth, was issued a summons by Sgt. Fred Dunn on Meadow Road on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

Removed, rejected, recovered

2/1 at 12:15 p.m. Police responded to the report of a motor vehicle burglary on White Street that likely occurred the night before. Music CDs and pepper spray were reportedly stolen from the unlocked vehicle. Fortunately, debris had been reported elsewhere on the road at 6:50 a.m. that morning, and the abandoned items matched up with those that had been taken.
