Arrests

2/17 at 8:42 a.m. Bethany Green, 23, of Cathance Road, was arrested by Sgt. Robert Ramsay on Cathance Road on charges of domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal threatening.

2/17 at 8:41 p.m. Nathan Almy, 24, of Meadow Road, was arrested by Officer Malcolm Marshall on Meadow Road on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest or detention. Almy was also issued a summons on a charge of creating a police standoff.

Summonses

2/19 at 8:53 a.m. Derek Alves, 29, of Federal Street, Brunswick, was issued a summons by Officer Malcolm Marshall on Foreside Road on a charge of harassment.

2/20 at 4:35 p.m. Peter Bernaiche, 28, of Cleveland Circle, South Portland, was issued a summons by Sgt. Robert Ramsay on Main Street on a charge of operating with a suspended registration.

2/22 at 4:54 a.m. Christopher Reny, 39, of Willow Circle, Lisbon, was issued a summons by Officer Malcolm Marshall on Bypass Drive on a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.

One bad night

2/17 at 8:41 p.m. Officer Malcolm Marshall responded to the report of a verbal disturbance on Meadow Road and found Nathan Almy, 24, of Meadow Road, outside a residence. Almy allegedly hit the hood of Marshall’s cruiser with a metal baseball bat and then fled on foot nearby woods. Sgt. Mark Gilliam and the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit also responded. Almy eventually went back inside the house and barricaded it. He was tased, arrested, and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief, refusing to submit to arrest or detention and creating a police standoff. Before being taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset, Almy was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
