After a competitive season, Freeport’s winter athletes were recently honored at the school’s Winter Sports Awards.

The boys’ basketball team gave its Coaches’ award to Nathan Pelletier, its Most Improved award to Ethan Sclar and its Booster’s Pride and Character award to Eli Fox.

The junior varsity squad gave Athletic Excellence awards to Josh Burke and Toby Holt and the Booster’s Pride and Character award to Joey Burke.

The first team gave Athletic Excellence awards to Erickson Shea and Shea Wagner and its Booster’s Pride and Character award to Caleb Barrett.

The girls’ basketball team gave its Most Improved Player award to Regan Lynch, its Lady Falcon award to Jessica Driscoll and the Booster’s Pride and Character award to Jess Wall.

The JV team’s Athletic Excellence awards went to Alexa Koenig and Brooke Toothaker and Booster’s Pride and Character award to Becca Pierce.

Boys’ hockey, which is part of a co-op team with South Portland and Waynflete, gave the Harry Clark award to Atticus Patrick.

Girls’ hockey, which is part of a co-op team with Yarmouth and Gray-New Gloucester, gave Most Improved Player awards to Madison McCallum and Miranda O’Shea.

Indoor track Finish Line awards went to Erik Brobst and Maddie Squibb. Starting Block awards went to Abigail King and Nicholas Mitch. Booster’s Pride and Character awards went to Max Heathco and Hannah Schnyder. 

Alpine skiing Athletic Excellence awards went to Griffin Agnese and Kaia Williams. Booster’s Pride and Character awards were given to Isaac Salisbury and Anna Sawicki.

Nordic skiing’s Most Valuable Skier was Lily Johnston. Alison Greuel was named Most Improved. Boys’ Coaches’ awards went to Kyle Dorsey and Yacob Olins. Booster’s Pride and Character awards went to Perrin Davidson and Lily Horne. 

Cheering’s Coaches’ award went to Kasey Erlebach. Tabatha Sabans won Most Improved. The Booster’s Pride and Character award went to Sarah Minnihan.

Max Thomas Scholarship awards went to Lily Johnston and Isaac Salisbury.

Lily Johnston and Caiden Shea were given Western Maine Conference Citizenship awards.
