Three Scarborough outdoor track and field standouts were recently named to the Maine Track and Cross Country Coaches’ Association 2012 All-State Team.

The girls’ first team featured senior Nicole Kirk, the multiple state champion in the 100 and 200 and state record holder in four events, along with classmate Emily Tolman, one of the state’s premier sprinters.

On the boys’ side, junior Kevin Manning, a top thrower and vaulter, was selected as an honorable mention.
