TOPSHAM — Thomas R. Green, 53, died March 22 at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn.  

Born Sept. 3, 1957, in Honolulu, HI, he was a son of George R. and Rose Kalei Farm Green.

After he graduated from Seaside High School in Seaside, Calif., he enlisted in the Marine Corps in January 1976.  

On Dec. 31, 1981, he married Mary Ann Johnson at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station in Hawaii.  

They lived in Jacksonville, N.C., before moving to Maine in 1985.  

He worked at Brunswick Naval Air Station in security and later in the supply department.

Subsequently, he worked as a pipefitter at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn.

His hobbies included bowling, drawing, collecting trading cards, and listening to show tunes.

He was predeceased by his father, and his sister, Marian Green.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Mary Ann Green of Topsham; two sons, Samuel Green of Topsham and Eric Green of Groton, Conn.; his mother, Rose Green; four brothers, George Green and his wife Lani, Robert Green and his wife Dorothy, Ronald Green and Nathan Green; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held last week.

Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
