CAPE ELIZABETH — The Thomas Memorial Library and the executive board of the Thomas Memorial Library Foundation are considering a capital campaign to raise funds to replace the existing library with a new library facility.

They have issued a request for proposals to help determine the feasibility of such a capital campaign and seek the assistance of an organization or individual with experience in conducting capital campaign feasibility studies.

The proposal requests background information on prior capital campaign feasibility studies, an assessment of community attitudes and potential donor information. The requests are due by Friday, June 10.

Contact Library Director Jay Scherma with any questions about the proposal by calling 799-1720. To view the request, visit the Thomas Memorial Library, the Thomas Memorial Library Foundation or the town’s website.

Responses should be submitted to Jay Scherma, Thomas Memorial Library, 6 Scott Dyer Road, Cape Elizabeth, 04107.
