YARMOUTH — Thelma Andrews Groves, 90, died Feb. 7 at the Brentwood Manor.

Groves was born in Hartford and was the daughter of Leland and Fidelia Dyer Andrews. She attended Hartford schools.

On Jan. 21, 1945, she married Lauren Groves. For 29 years she worked in the packing and shipping department at L.L. Bean. She was also a bookkeeper at Moody’s Garage.

Groves enjoyed pastel painting, loved life and was a good Christian.

She was predeceased by her husband and brothers, Julien and Larry Andrews. She is survived by her son, Leslie Groves of Freeport.

Services will be private. Arrangements are made by Independent Death care of Maine, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland.
