Maine’s first lady, Ann LePage, and Peter Ogden, right, director of Maine’s Bureau of Veterans Services, present a certificate of appreciation on Feb. 2 at Topsham American Legion Post 202 to former U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Richard L. Saucier for his contribution to the Korean War effort. Saucier was one of 24 Mid-Coast war veterans recognized for service from World War II through the Persian Gulf conflicts.
