SCARBOROUGH — The public is invited to be part of the Team Kyle 5K Run/Walk at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. The event begins at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road.
The race is a fundraiser for the Team Kyle Foundation, established in the memory of Kyle St. Clair, the son of Town Councilor Kate St. Clair. Kyle died Jan. 9 at age 8. He was born prematurely and spent much of his life hospitalized with health complications and illnesses.
Race-day registration is $32 with a shirt and $27 without a shirt. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in 13 age categories.
