FREEPORT — Chefs from more than 30 restaurants will arrive in Freeport on Sunday to prepare food and raise money for a worthy cause.
Taste of the Nation will will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. at Wolfe’s Neck Farm, 184 Burnett Road. It is one of dozens of similar events being held throughout the United States this weekend.
The eighth annual event in Maine will raise money for four local groups that provide meals to children: Opportunity Alliance, Good Shepherd Food Bank, Cultivating Community and Preble Street Teen Center.
